I've never been particularly comfortable at being photographed, mainly because I know what the image is going to look like from the lens being used, the lighting, and who the photographer is.
But every now and then I get the urge to see what I look like to others. Sometimes the result is not very flattering:

I'd much rather be behind the camera than in front! I usually approach folks; they know I've taken a shot. The goal: capture them as I find them, but not with deception; or portray themas I know them.
